Varna, Bulgaria (AP)—Bobby Fischer of Brooklyn, the U.S. champion, lost his adjourned game to Ciolcitea of Romania yesterday in the 15th chess Olympics.
However, the U.S. team defeated Romania in the fifth round 2½ to 1½ and moved into a tie with Yugoslavia for third place in the team standings. The Soviet Union and West Germany lead with 13½ points each, followed by Yugoslavia and the United States, 12 each.
