Chicago, June 5 (UPI)—A drawn game at the international chess tournament here put Russia's Ewfim Geller and Tigran Petrosian ahead today, at least temporarily breaking a three way tie for first place with Paul Keres, another Russian.
The game between the two leaders drawn after 15 moves, gave each man half a point, increasing their totals to 11 each. Keres, whose game with Victor Korchnoi of Russia was adjourned, had 10½ points.
Bobby Fischer of the United States was tied with Korchnoi for third place with eight games each. Paul Benko, the other American contender, stood fourth.
