Fischer Triumphs After 33 Moves
Beats Olafsson in Chess in Sweden—Bisguier Bows
Bobby Fischer of New York defeated Fridrik Olafsson of Iceland in the fifteenth round of the interzonal tournament in Stockholm yesterday, according to reports from the Swedish capital.
The former United States champion, who is undefeated in the event, is in first place with a 12-2 score.
Wolfgang Uhlmann of East Germany, who at 10-4 is in second place, drew a bye.
Fischer, playing the white pieces was confronted with a Sicilian defense set up by the Icelander. The American outmaneuvered his opponent in a rook ending. The game lasted thirty-three moves.
Ewfim Geller of the Soviet Union, in third place with 9½-3½, adjourned with Istvan Bilek of Hungary in a Reti opening after forty-one moves.

Leonid Stein of the Soviet Union, in a cleverly defended Tarrasch defense to the queen's gambit declined, outpointed Arthur B. Bisguier of New York in thirty-two moves.
