Adjourned Games Finished In Candidates' Chess Play
Willemstad, CuraƧao, June 13—All adjourned games were finished today in the Candidates' Chess Tournament here. Bobby Fischer of the United States resigned his nineteenth round game to Victor Korchnoi of the Soviet Union without resuming play. Pal Benko of the United States resigned his nineteenth round game to Tigran Petrosian of the Soviet Union in forty-three moves when the loss of a piece became inevitable.
Korchnoi also won his twentieth round game with Dr. Miroslav Filip of Czechoslovakia, who resigned without resuming play. Ewfim Geller of the Soviet Union defeated his countryman, Mikhail Tal, in their twentieth round game after seventy-eight moves when Tal was two pawns behind.
